EyeChicks — Luxury Eyewear for Men and Women

While sight­see­ing out in the coun­try with my friend Deb­o­ra, we stum­bled upon a cute Vic­to­ri­an house that is home to Eye­Chicks lux­u­ry eye­wear in the lit­tle town of Loomis, CA.

This is one of the best eyewear shops ever!

Eye­Chicks has end­less pos­si­bil­i­ties in eye­wear. With­in min­utes of being in the store, Sandy Fritz, one of the co-own­ers, had sized up our faces and start­ed point­ing out frames in shapes and col­ors that worked on both of us. The selec­tion of Euro­pean frames was daz­zling and the bou­tique lives up to its tagline “Life is too short…To wear bor­ing glass­es!” There is tru­ly some­thing for every one.

When you want to make a statement with your eyewear. Here are some guidelines for consideration:

Shape:
Choose glass­es that har­mo­nize with the shape of your face and brow.
Or– choose “state­ment glass­es” that add dec­o­ra­tive fea­tures not present in your face to add some bold style to your look.

Col­or:
Glass­es need to har­mo­nize with your col­or­ing. You want your frames to have some sim­i­lar­i­ties with your body design.
For example:

• Repeat­ing your eye col­or in your frames brings peo­ple’s gaze to your eyes and you will more like­ly receive the pos­i­tive feed­back that you have such beau­ti­ful eyes.
• Repeat­ing your hair col­or in your frames will make you look balanced.
• Repeat­ing your best met­al in your frames com­ple­ments your skin coloring
  Sil­ver for cool skin tone peo­ple (peo­ple who can wear red/violet to vio­let well). 
  Gold for warm skin tone peo­ple (peo­ple who can wear orange, yel­low or yellow/green well).

  If rus­tic, eth­nic, ham­mered met­al is your style, be sure to include that on your glasses.
  If your taste is  for fine jew­el­ry and ele­gant design, your glass­es should match this lev­el of refinement.

You do not want to have a dis­con­nect between your per­son­al style and that of your glass­es. Con­ti­nu­ity of mes­sage, design etc., is reas­sur­ing for peo­ple who see you. It’s what makes you look like you. The more mon­ey you have to spend on eye­wear allows you to have more vari­ety for expres­sion. Just ask your­self how many pairs of glass­es can you afford and then choose your strat­e­gy. If this is the one and only pair of frames, it has to hit most of your needs. If you can afford a few pairs of glass­es,  you may want to choose your favorite style but pur­chase the frames in three dif­fer­ent col­ors.  Or, you may choose sim­i­lar col­or schemes in three dif­fer­ent shapes.
