Gray is a whole new color needed in your wardrobe. So figure out what color it is.
Finding your Gray.
Method #1. Deduction.…. Predicting the future from the past:
Black hair often goes White, Mercury, Cool Silver. (Black Gray) Gunmetal, Silver Blue (Blue Gray)
Blonde may go Misted Mushroom, Sand, Dark Platinum (Yellow Gray)Pale Putty, Pewter Cream, Grege, Ashes, White Birch (Green Gray)
Brown hair .… may go Pearl Grey, Green Smoke, Drizzle, Iron, Flint (Green Gray) or Taupe, Seal, Walnut (Brown Gray)
Red Hair may go Terra Cotta, Red Amber (Red Gray) Red heads may not ever choose to go gray. Red hair is the most difficult transition to gray.
Method #2. The Pile Method.
Throw all your grays in a pile and sort by color. Yes, once you get all of the greys together you will see that some are bluer, greener, redder, purpler, etc than the next.
Gray like Black comes in all forms and all the colors of the rainbow.
So now you have stacks of like grays together. Grab one stack at a time and hold it close to your face. Look for the stack that makes both your hair and skin look good. Now think of that gray as a color and name it. Is it Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, Brown (Orange), Purple or a combination of several. Whatever hue it is.…that is Your Gray (or Grays).
Use these grey for accent in metals and accessories. Start moving your basic wardrobe pieces into your gray and pop them with other colors that complement your skin. This grey is your new black.
