Pantone Color Institute™ has designated Freesia as one of their colors for 2014. This hue resonates around the world. When worn by dark haired beauties, it absolutely shines. Komal Shah wears a Dennis Basso gown in bright yellow Freesia, as reported by Carolyne Zinko of the SF Chronicle, and photographed by Laura Morton. This bold bright color is softened by the ruffles. Wearing a bold color in a soft material diffuses the intensity of the color.
Color expresses a mood and attitude. Freesia expresses joy and is unmistakable!

To wear Freesia, one must:
- Be willing to be noticed, it is dramatic;
- Be very young because youth gets away with almost everything, or
- Have the right hair and skin tone. Typically, dark hair, with neutral to warm skin tones in the medium, to dark, to very dark range.
For all you blonde haired women with pink toned skin – do not even try this dress on. Your colors are more likely to be the Pantone pastels of Placid Blue, Violet Tulip, Hemlock, and the Sand neutral. If you have gray hair maybe Paloma might be your neutral. I will be reviewing these colors as soon as I find them in the stores.
