On Friday, April 4th, Eileen G. came to the MakeOver and Photo shoot at my Redwood City Studio. Before the photo shoot, Eileen had her colors done and had her list of outfits to bring to the shoot.
Here are a couple of snapshots that I took of her Before and After her professional photo session. The only thing different in these pictures are clothing, makeup and Eileen herself. The professional shots are still to come, however I want to share the difference in my model.
When she posed initially she was thinking that she did not look good in pictures. You can almost read it on her face, “Oh no, here we go again, another photo session where I don’t look good.”
But just before this last test shot, she said “Wait a second, I know what to do, I need to turn, look, and lean into the shot… like this.” She flashed a big smile and she looks great. What a difference!

Eileen brought a couple of choices for her top. The green top brings out the color of her eyes, however, the satiny champagne top really makes her shine. The soft, full curve of the neckline compliments her face and her shape. The makeup evens out her skin tone and gave her face a satin finish. The makeup also highlighted her eyes, cheeks and lips.
In her photo session Eileen got positive feedback from the photographer and she got to see how good the photos were turning out, and learn how to make each successive shot even better. It was a positive feedback loop that gave her permission to really show her beauty, and she had FUN doing it.
